L4-1700 Wide-Format Roll Laminator

The L4-1700 is the compact entry to the L-1700 series, sized for smaller workshops. A 250 W motor with chain drive runs it at up to 24 m/min across the same 1630 mm laminating width as the rest of the range, with heating up to 80 °C and material up to 40 mm thick. It stands on its own frame, with an electric top roller lift and 120 mm silicone rollers, and draws 350 W.

Instead of a touchscreen, the L4 uses a dedicated control system. Film rolls sit on four self-expanding shafts that connect and start working without an air compressor, and four ceramic knives with manual adjustment trim the work during lamination.

The machine stops automatically at the end of the job. A vacuum feed table holds the material flat, two multifunction foot pedals at the front and rear are synchronised with the speed control knob, and anti-pinch protection keeps fingers away from the nip.

• Laminating wide-format prints with matt or gloss protective film, up to 1630 mm wide
