L1-1700 Wide-Format Roll Laminator

The L1-1700 is the top model of the L-1700 series and the fastest of the five. A 1000 W industrial servo motor with gear transmission takes it to 52 m/min across a 1630 mm laminating width, with heating up to 80 °C. It accepts material up to 45 mm thick — the most in the series — and its top roller is lifted pneumatically, with 180 mm silicone rollers.

Slitting is built in: six electrically driven tungsten-steel knives trim the work during lamination, and automatic slitting correction keeps the cut where it should be. Film rolls sit on three pneumatic splined shafts with automatic locking, so the cores are not damaged when a roll is changed. A laser positioning pointer and adjustable LED work lighting help the operator line the job up.

The smart touchscreen runs in 15 languages, keeps customisable preference settings and can be updated remotely. Laminated length is set and counted precisely, and the machine stops automatically at the end of the job. A vacuum feed table holds the material flat before it reaches the rollers, two multifunction foot pedals at the front and rear are synchronised with the speed control knob, and anti-pinch protection keeps fingers away from the nip.
