CNC & cutting
CNC routers, milling, cutting tables and sheet-metal.
CNC routers
Routers & machining centres.
CNC routers for cutting and machining panels, signage and stone. The range covers routers with automatic tool changers for production work on MDF, plywood, plastics and composite panels, a CCD camera router that cuts printed boards along their contour, and a router built for stone machining. For cutting metal, stone and glass with a water jet, see Plasma & water-jet.
3 machines →Milling
Precision milling systems.
View →Digital cutting tables
Flatbed knife & oscillating tables.
Digital flatbed cutting tables from Jwei, cutting with knife, oscillating and creasing tools instead of a die. They handle carton, corrugated board, foam board, textiles, leather and vinyl, from compact plotters for sample work to large-format tables and fully automatic lines that load, cut and unload the material.
6 machines →Plasma & water-jet
Metal cutting — plasma & water-jet.
Cutting machines for metal, stone and glass. Abrasive water-jet cutters cut cold, with no heat-affected zone, through steel, stainless steel, aluminium, stone, glass and composites. Tell us what you need to cut and how thick, and we will come back with a configuration and a price.
1 machine →Press brakes (Abkant)
Sheet metal press-brake bending.
A press brake folds sheet metal between an upper punch and a lower die: the ram presses the sheet into the die opening, and the backgauge behind the tools sets where each bend falls. It turns flat laser- or waterjet-cut blanks into enclosures, brackets, trays, profiles and frames. On a servo-hydraulic machine the two cylinders are driven independently and kept level by closed-loop control on linear scales, so the bend angle stays consistent along the full length and the machine uses energy only while it is moving. The CNC control calculates the bend sequence, positions the backgauge between bends and compensates for the deflection of the bed.
