Flora XTRA 5000H Pro Hybrid UV Printer - 5 m

The XTRA 5000H Pro (XTRA5000H) is an extra-wide hybrid UV printer that handles both flexible roll media up to 5 m wide and rigid boards up to 5000 × 2500 mm. A vacuum table combined with a conveyor belt and extension tables positions heavy and thick media accurately, up to 51 mm.

Print system

The head carriage uses a dual CMYK configuration in a symmetrical layout and takes up to 24 greyscale print heads with variable drop size, printing at up to 600 × 2400 dpi. Four greyscale levels give smooth transitions in gradients and fine detail. The four standard colours can be extended with optional Light Cyan, Light Magenta and White.

Speed

At 4 pass in CMYK across the full width, the 6-row head configuration prints around 165 m²/h. The 3-row configuration runs at roughly half that, around 82 m²/h.

White, layers and backlits

Three spot-colour layers in CWC and WCV modes make it possible to print on transparent materials and to build special effects with White. A dual automatic negative-pressure system, with a separate circuit for White, keeps ink flow stable and prevents dripping. An integrated LED strip lets the operator see the light box effect of a backlit print while it is being printed.

Media handling and safety

The printer detects media thickness and adjusts the head height automatically. Anti-collision protection guards the heads, and an infrared barrier detects obstacles at the feed and take-up. Dynamically adjustable UV LED lamps cure the ink as it is laid down.

Software

The workflow runs on Photoprint Server or Onyx, with Caldera as an option, and accepts TIFF, JPEG, PDF, EPS and PS files.
