UV DTF — transfer film
Roll-fed UV DTF printers for A-B transfer film.
UV DTF printers print CMYK, white and varnish onto a roll of transfer film. The printed film is laminated to an adhesive layer, the backing is peeled away, and the graphic is pressed by hand onto the object — no heat press and no pre-treatment. Because nothing has to fit under a printhead, it works on surfaces a flatbed cannot reach: curved bottles, assembled boxes, tool handles, glass, metal, ceramic and wood.
2 machines →DTF — textile transfer
Direct-to-film printers for textile transfer.
A DTF printer prints the design in reverse onto a PET film, coats it with hot-melt adhesive powder and cures it; the film is then pressed onto the garment. Because the ink never touches the fabric directly, one machine decorates cotton, polyester, blends, nylon and leather without changing pretreatment, and small runs cost the same per piece as large ones.

About this range
Direct-to-film printers, in two families. DTF printers print onto film with a powder adhesive, and the transfer is pressed onto garments and textiles with a heat press. UV DTF printers print a UV-cured transfer that is applied by hand to hard objects such as bottles, glass, metal, plastic, ceramic and wood, including curved surfaces a flatbed cannot reach.
