Sheet-metal fibre cutters
Enclosed fibre laser cutting machines.
About this range
A fibre laser cuts sheet metal by melting a very narrow kerf and blowing the melt clear with assist gas. Because the beam is delivered through a fibre rather than mirrors, the machine needs almost no optical alignment, and the same source cuts mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper — the last two being where CO₂ lasers struggle.
