About this machine
F5-2030-8 CCD / F5-2040-8 CCD CNC Router with CCD Camera
This version of the F5 router carries a CCD camera over the working area. Printed boards are laid on the table carrying register marks; the camera finds those marks and the control adjusts the cutting path to the sheet as it actually lies, rather than to nominal coordinates. That is what allows a printed graphic to be cut to its own contour, which is the usual requirement in signage and display work where printing happens before cutting.
Underneath, the mechanical base is the same as the rest of the F5 range. The spindle is a 9 kW (12 hp) electrospindle turning at up to 24,000 rpm, with an ER32 collet in an ISO30 taper, fed from an 8-station tool magazine mounted on the gantry so the head has only a short move to pick up a cutter. A probe measures each tool tip against the workpiece, so depths stay consistent from one tool to the next.
The frame is steel in 8 mm and 25 mm sections, machined on a high-precision CNC gantry, with planetary gearbox drive, Omron limit switches, Schneider electrical components and automatic lubrication. The table is split into nine vacuum zones with individual valves, so hold-down can be concentrated where the work is, and T-slots take mechanical clamps where vacuum is not enough. A Becker dry-running vacuum pump of 5.5 kW supplies 250 m³/h, and a 5.5 kW twin-bag collector removes chips and dust.
Control is by a Syntec 63CA CNC. The machine is pre-arranged for automatic loading and unloading as a plug-and-play addition, so a feeding cell can follow later. It suits print and signage producers who cut printed rigid board to contour, and shops that also run plain panel work in MDF, chipboard and HDF.
