About this machine
F5-2030-12 / F5-2040-12 CNC Router with Automatic Tool Changer
The F5 is a gantry CNC router built around an automatic tool changer, for shops that cut, drill and profile flat panels in sequence rather than one operation at a time. The working area is 2070 × 3050 × 200 mm on the F5-2030 and 2070 × 4000 × 200 mm on the F5-2040, so a full sheet is loaded once and the machine works through the whole programme without the operator stopping to swap cutters.
Tool changes come from a 12-station magazine carried on the gantry itself, next to the spindle, so the head travels only a short distance between the cut and the pick-up point. The spindle is a 9 kW (12 hp) electrospindle running to 24,000 rpm, with an ER32 collet in an ISO30 taper, which covers both roughing cutters and small engraving bits out of the same magazine. A probe measures the position of each tool tip against the workpiece, so drilling and engraving depths stay consistent after a change.
The frame is steel throughout, in 8 mm and 25 mm sections, machined on a high-precision CNC gantry. Motion is through planetary gearboxes, with Omron limit switches and Schneider electrical components, and lubrication is automatic.
The table is divided into nine vacuum zones, each switched by its own valve, so a small part can be held on one zone without drawing air across the rest of the bed; T-slots take mechanical clamps for work that vacuum alone will not hold. A Becker dry-running vacuum pump of 5.5 kW moves 250 m³/h, and a 5.5 kW twin-bag collector takes chips and dust away from the cut.
The machine is pre-arranged for automatic loading and unloading, so a feeding and stacking cell can be added later as a plug-and-play unit; a pressing roller, automatic labelling and a multi-drilling unit are also available. It suits joinery workshops, furniture production and sign makers running repeat batches of panel parts.
