Galaxy UD-18R2LU Roll-to-Roll UV LED Printer
An entry-level 1800 mm roll-to-roll UV LED printer. Because the ink is cured by UV LED as it prints, the prints are finished as they leave the carriage, with no drying time before cutting, laminating or installing.
It takes the standard roll media of a print shop, frontlit and backlit banner, mesh, self-adhesive vinyl and paper, on rolls up to 100 m long, for volumes of up to 200 m² a day.
One or two Epson i3200-U1 heads print CMYK or 2 × CMYK, at 18 / 35 m²/h in draft mode (4 pass) with 1 / 2 × CMYK. Ink comes from a chipless CISS bulk supply, an anti-crush system protects the heads, and the take-up system is included. Files are prepared in FlexiPrint. The printer runs on 220 V (3400 W) and needs a floor space of about 5 × 2 m.

What is the difference from an eco-solvent printer?
The ink is cured by UV LED as it prints, so prints are finished as they leave the carriage, with no drying time before cutting, laminating or installing. It is an entry-level 1800 mm machine for shops moving from eco-solvent to UV.
What media does it take?
The standard roll media of a print shop: frontlit and backlit banner, mesh, self-adhesive vinyl and paper, up to 1800 mm wide on rolls up to 100 m long. Typical work is banners, backlit graphics, posters and point-of-sale prints.
How much can it print?
18 m²/h with one head (CMYK) and 35 m²/h with two heads (2 × CMYK), in draft mode (4 pass), for volumes of up to 200 m² a day. Prints are cured as they leave the carriage. If your daily volume is higher, tell us the figure and we will discuss whether this machine fits.
One head or two?
One or two Epson i3200-U1 heads, printing CMYK or 2 × CMYK. Two heads roughly double the draft speed, from 18 to 35 m²/h. Ink comes from a chipless CISS bulk supply, an anti-crush system protects the heads, and the take-up system comes with the printer.
