About this machine
Galaxy F32 UV Flatbed Printer — BQ Series
A 3.2 × 2.0 m industrial UV flatbed for rigid board production. The bed takes standard sheet formats whole, and its five independently switched vacuum zones mean a small sheet holds down on one zone without the machine pulling air across the rest of an empty table.
The carriage runs on a magnetically levitated linear motor rather than a belt, which is what allows the higher pass speeds to stay accurate over a 3.2 m traverse, and the Y axis on a ground ball screw. Substrate height is measured automatically, from a thin sheet up to 100 mm.
Printhead configurations
The machine is built to order around either Ricoh Gen6 or Konica Minolta 1024A heads, in several head counts. Throughput ranges from 104 to 208 m²/h in draft with Gen6, and from 58 to 224 m²/h with the 1024A. Light Cyan and Light Magenta are standard on the 1024A build and optional on the Gen6.
