About this machine
Galaxy UD-32L8BQW F32 UV Flatbed Printer — BQ Series
A 3.2 × 2.0 m industrial UV flatbed for rigid board production. The bed takes standard sheet formats whole, and its five independently switched vacuum zones mean a small sheet holds down on one zone without the machine pulling air across the rest of an empty table.
The carriage runs on a magnetically levitated linear motor rather than a belt, and the Y axis on a ground ball screw. Substrate height is measured automatically, from a thin sheet up to 100 mm.
The machine runs 2 – 8 Ricoh Gen6 heads with UV LED ink, in these configurations: W + CMYK / 2 × W + 2 × CMYK / CMYK / 2 × CMYK / 3 × CMYK / 4 × CMYK. Output in draft mode (4 pass) is 50, 98, 148 or 195 m²/h with 1, 2, 3 or 4 colour channels. Files are prepared in FlexiPrint.
