About this machine
Galaxy UD-1300BXV F13 UV Flatbed Printer — BX Series
A 1250 × 1240 mm UV flatbed for personalisation, promotional items and short-run object printing. The square bed takes a full batch of small parts or a single larger panel, and the carriage measures the substrate height automatically, from 1 mm up to 100 mm, so objects of different thickness can go through without manual adjustment.
The carriage runs on a double THK linear rail, and the cables travel in a high-speed silent cable chain.
Printheads
The F13 carries one to four Epson i3200-U1 heads with UV LED ink, in five colour configurations: W + CMYK + V, W + 2 × CMYK + V, W + CMYK, W + 2 × CMYK and 3 × CMYK. In draft mode (4 pass) it prints at 17, 34 or 51 m²/h, depending on the configuration.
Files are prepared in FlexiPrint.

What is it for?

How thick can the substrates be?
From 1 mm up to 100 mm. The carriage measures the substrate height automatically, so objects of different thickness can go through without manual adjustment between jobs. If your parts are close to the 100 mm limit, send us a sample and we will confirm the fit.
Which colour configuration should we choose?
There are five, on one to four Epson i3200-U1 heads: W + CMYK + V, W + 2 × CMYK + V, W + CMYK, W + 2 × CMYK and 3 × CMYK. Choose a configuration with white for dark or transparent substrates, add varnish for gloss effects, and use 3 × CMYK for colour-only work.
How fast is it?
17, 34 or 51 m²/h in draft mode (4 pass), depending on the colour configuration. Tell us your daily volume and the mix of white, varnish and colour-only jobs and we will recommend the configuration.
How is the carriage built?
The carriage runs on a double THK linear rail, and the cables travel in a high-speed silent cable chain. Height detection over 1 – 100 mm is built into the carriage.

What does it need on site?
Power for 4800 W, and floor space for a machine of 2820 × 2010 × 1430 mm at 500 kg net. It ships packed at 3000 × 2200 × 1600 mm and 780 kg gross, so plan for a forklift and an access route wide enough for the crate.
