Fiber LM-S Fibre Laser Marking Machine
The Fiber LM-S is a bench fibre laser marker built around a galvanometer scanning head and an F-Theta lens. Instead of moving the head over the part, two mirrors steer the beam across the field, which is what allows a marking speed of up to 7000 mm/s. The source is offered at 30 W or 50 W, and the focused beam is 0.02 mm wide, so small characters, fine lines and dense codes stay legible.
The marking field is set by the lens fitted: 100 × 100 mm, 200 × 200 mm or 300 × 300 mm. A small field suits identification work on individual components, while the larger lenses cover whole panels or several parts placed on the bed together. The machine also performs multi-layer volumetric processing, removing material in successive passes for relief and sculpted effects rather than surface marking alone.
Marking is fast on metals and on some non-metals, including hard plastics. Cooling is by air, so there is no chiller, no water circuit and no coolant maintenance — the machine needs only a mains socket and bench space of 920 × 460 × 540 mm. The housing is aluminium, chosen for wear resistance in a workshop environment.
On the file side the controller accepts AI, PLT, DXF, BMP, DST, DWG, LAS and DXP, as well as photographs, so artwork prepared in almost any vector package can be marked without redrawing. Jobs are loaded over USB, either by cable from a PC or from a memory stick, which makes the machine usable as a standalone station next to a production line.
It suits workshops that mark serial numbers, batch data and data matrix codes on metal parts, produce stainless steel or aluminium nameplates, identify tooling and machine components, or engrave metal promotional items in short runs.
