Fiber — marking

Fibre marking machines

Permanent marking on metals and plastics.

About this range

A fibre marker writes with a galvanometer head: two mirrors steer the beam across the part at thousands of millimetres per second, so the mark is made without anything touching the workpiece. The mark is a change in the material itself — an oxide layer, an engraved groove or an annealed colour — which is why it survives handling, solvents and heat that would take off ink.
