About this range
Glass-tube CO2 machines are the workhorses of sign shops, model shops and gift engraving. They cut and engrave acrylic, plywood, MDF, leather, rubber, paper and textiles, and at 80 to 130 W they reach through acrylic in the 15 to 20 mm range in a single pass. What distinguishes one from another at this level is rarely the source. It is the frame, the motion system and what comes fitted as standard: water cooling with temperature control so the tube is not run hot, an air-assist system so the cut edge stays clean and the flame stays down, and fume extraction so the operator is not working in the smoke. These machines are chosen on working area and on what is included, not on brand prestige. They are the right answer when the work is varied, the materials are non-metal, and the machine has to earn its cost back on ordinary jobs rather than on one specialised process.
