YXD-HA406 Magnetic Auto-Open Heat Press

The YXD-HA406 presses at 40 x 60 cm in portrait format, which covers a full adult front print, and opens by itself when the timer runs out. The opening is magnetic rather than pneumatic, so there is no compressor to buy, no air line to run and nothing to service; the platen simply lifts to 75 degrees at the end of the cycle and the operator loads the next piece.

That auto-open behaviour is what changes the rhythm of a small shop. An operator who has to remember to lift the platen will eventually scorch a garment, and a press that has to be watched cannot be left while something else is done. Here the cycle ends by itself, with an audible signal, and a manual release button is available if the press has to be opened before time.

Temperature is set anywhere from 0 to 280 C and held to plus or minus 0.5 C with automatic monitoring. The heating plate is cast as one piece, wire and plate together, and the heat is distributed through ultra-precise ducting, which is what keeps the temperature the same at the corners of the platen as it is in the middle. A press that is uniform only under its sensor will show the difference on the first large transfer.

Time is set from 0 to 999 seconds. Both time and temperature have their own digital control on an intelligent microcomputer panel with an LED touch screen, so neither is changed by accident while adjusting the other. Pressure is high and evenly distributed, and the adjustment sits under the lower platen.

The press draws 2200 W and accepts 110 V or 220 V at 50/60 Hz. It ships in a 89.5 x 52 x 58 cm carton at 60 kg. The same series is built in 40 x 40, 40 x 50, 40 x 60 and 50 x 60 cm platens.
