About this machine

The PA-D1600i is a high-vacuum dust and fume collector for metal work at a single station: laser scribing and drilling, laser and TIG welding, deburring and metal additive manufacturing. The point of the D series is negative pressure - up to 10000 Pa - so the dust is caught at the nozzle before it has a chance to disperse. 1600 m³/h.

Intelligent version (PIPS)

This is the i version of the model. It adds the Pure-Air Intelligent Purification System: an industrial touch screen that shows real airflow and negative pressure in real time, a filter health manager that warns before a stage blocks, and automatic airflow compensation so extraction does not fade as the filter loads. I/O and RS-485 allow remote start/stop, linkage with the host machine or robot and centralised control of several units. PM2.5, VOC and O3 sensors are available as an option, and firmware updates are loaded from a TF card.

Installation

Positioned at the process, not at the wall: these are high-vacuum units and their value is capture at source through a nozzle, hood or the machine's own port. Keep the duct short. On metal powder work, earth the ducting and the unit. Leave the front clear for cartridge and dust-drawer access.
