Jwei SC Series Digital Cutting Table

The SC is Jwei's industrial working tier: the table a shop buys to do precise, varied work every day without paying for the linear-motor speed of the SL or the full tool-changing automation of the SG. It runs at 1800 mm/s with a repeat precision of plus or minus 0.05 mm and a servo resolution of plus or minus 0.01 mm, which is enough for packaging prototyping, short-run custom work and sign making on the same machine.

Two sizes are built. The SC1625 cuts 1600 x 2500 mm to a depth of 50 mm and is the general-purpose signage and display table. The SC1311 cuts 1300 x 1100 mm to 30 mm and is supplied as an integrated feeding, cutting and collecting line: it pulls sheet from a stack up to 180 mm high, cuts it and collects the finished parts, which is what makes it useful on repetitive board and technical-textile work rather than on one-off panels.

The head takes tools in double fixing holes, quick-insert and plug-and-play, with the electric oscillating knife, drag knife and plotting tool supplied. V-cut tools for grey board, picture frame and multiple angles, a rotary knife, an electric foam knife, a milling cutter and an explosion-proof pressure wheel are available. Motion is by servo through imported linear guides, a synchronous belt and a lead screw, and material is held by vacuum on an aerospace honeycomb aluminium bed with zoned suction available.

Printed work is registered by camera with automatic image adjustment, and a QR-code module classifies jobs so several designs can share the bed. Control is through an independent platform with a touch-screen interface, over Ethernet. An infrared light grid guards the working area.

The SC1625 is also offered in two automated configurations: with a 2.5 m receiving table, which lets the operator collect finished parts while the next job is still cutting and adds projection sorting, and as a full loading-cutting-unloading line, which destacks from a pallet up to 750 mm high, cuts and restacks — a 10.66 m footprint at 17 kW instead of 3.57 m at 9.5 kW.
