Flora Xtra3300 / Xtra5000 UV LED Roll-to-Roll Printer
The Flora Xtra roll-to-roll platform is built for high-volume outdoor and display production. It is available in two widths - Xtra3300 at 3.3 m and Xtra5000 at 5 m superwide - on the same mechanics, ink system and control software, so the choice is purely one of format.
Both widths carry 8 to 16 Konica Minolta KM-1024A greyscale heads, reaching up to 200 m2/h in 2-pass mode and 1440 dpi in the highest-quality mode. A linear-motor X axis with a metal encoder strip keeps drop placement accurate at production speed.
Media handling is industrial: rolls up to 400 mm in diameter and 360 kg, vertical roll locking for fast changeover, a multi-zone individually controlled vacuum chamber and multi-point tensioning. Up to three rolls can be printed side by side in one run, and double-sided printing is supported with software front/back alignment.

Xtra3300 or Xtra5000: how do we choose?
By format only. Both run on the same mechanics, ink system and control software. The Xtra3300 prints 3300 mm wide and the Xtra5000 5000 mm wide, each on media up to 200 m long. The Xtra5000 measures 7900 × 2000 × 1900 mm and weighs 5,000 kg. Tell us the widest job you sell and we will advise.
How fast does it print, and at what resolution?
Up to 200 m²/h in 2-pass mode and 54 m²/h in 8-pass high-quality mode. Resolution modes are 540 × 720, 540 × 1080, 726 × 720, 726 × 1080 and 726 × 1440 dpi. It carries 8 to 16 Konica Minolta KM-1024A greyscale heads with a variable 6–18 pl drop, and a linear-motor X axis with a metal encoder strip keeps drop placement accurate.
Which colour configurations are available?
Five: CMYK; CMYK + Lc + Lm; CMYK + White ×2; CMYK + Lc + Lm + White ×2; and CMYK + White + Varnish. Ink is cured by UV LED. Send us your job mix and we will help you choose.
What media and roll sizes does it take?

Can it print double-sided?
Yes. Double-sided printing is supported, with software alignment of the front and back images. A built-in LED light box lets the operator inspect prints in real time. Send us a double-sided job and we will show you the workflow.
What does it need on site?
A 220 V, 50/60 Hz supply with a maximum power draw of 5,000 W, and a room at 20–30 °C and 35–65% RH, non-condensing. The Xtra5000 measures 7900 × 2000 × 1900 mm and weighs 5,000 kg. Dimensions for the Xtra3300 are not in our data; we send them with the quote.
Which software and files does it use?
PhotoPrint Flora Edition 10.5 is the RIP, with Onyx as an option, and calibration is done in software. The printer connects to the computer over USB 3.0 and accepts TIFF, JPG, PDF, PSD, EPS, PS and Bitmap files, among others.
