Galaxy UD-18L6BPW 1.8 m Hybrid UV Printer — Ricoh Gen6
A 1800 mm hybrid UV LED printer that switches between roll media and rigid boards on one platform. Motorised roll transport with a tensioning system carries flexible media, and the changeover to boards up to 100 mm thick is quick, so the same machine covers banner and vinyl work as well as rigid signage.
Two to six Ricoh Gen6 heads are fitted, depending on the colour configuration: W + CMYK / W + 2 × CMYK / CMYK / 2 × CMYK / 3 × CMYK. Throughput is 50 / 98 / 148 m²/h in draft mode (4 pass) with 1 / 2 / 3 colour channels. Calibration is automatic, through internal alignment and height sensors.
A pulling and feeding system for heavy rolls and continuous production, and front and rear tables for rigid media, are available as options. Files are prepared in FlexiPrint.
Applications
PVC and Forex boards, rigid panels, vinyl, mesh, treated textiles, treated wood and glass; signage that mixes rigid and roll jobs in the same day.
