Galaxy UD-1800BPV 1.8 m Hybrid UV Printer
The Galaxy UD-1800BPV is a professional hybrid UV printer for both rigid and flexible substrates. Changeover between roll media and boards is quick, which makes it well suited to mixed workloads - signage, wallcoverings, carpet and rug printing, leather and interior decor.
The machine carries eight print heads and supports simultaneous colour, white and varnish printing. White gives opacity on coloured and transparent materials, while varnish is used for gloss, selective spot finishes and textured effects. Maximum print width is 1,800 mm.
Media is driven by a motorised roll transport with an automatic tensioning system, and alignment and head height are set automatically by internal sensors. The printer works with the common commercial RIPs - MainTop, PhotoPRINT and PrintFactory.
Optional equipment includes a pulling/feeding system for heavy rolls and continuous production, plus front and rear tables for handling rigid boards.
