Galaxy UD-3200TXD / UD-32R8TXD Direct-to-Textile Sublimation Printer

A 3200 mm dye-sublimation printer that prints directly on fabric. The ink goes straight onto the textile, without transfer paper, and the built-in heat-fixation system fixes the colours on the same machine.

Two configurations

• UD-3200TXD — four Epson i3200-A1 heads, 160 m²/h in draft mode (2 pass) and 90 m²/h in standard mode (4 pass), ten 1000 W heating lamps.
• UD-32R8TXD — eight Epson i3200-A1 heads, 313 m²/h in draft mode (1 pass) and 177 m²/h in standard mode (2 pass), fourteen 1000 W heating lamps — for flags, beach flags and advertising textiles in large quantities.

Both print CMYK. A rubber-coated roller drives the fabric evenly across the full width, and an automatic tension bar on unwind and rewind keeps it taut so it does not shift or crease. Rolls up to 75 kg are accepted, and a split media system is included.

Ink comes from the Galaxy refill system with high-capacity refillable tanks, suited to long runs. A tray under the media path collects the ink that passes through porous fabrics, and a lifting capping station protects the nozzles between jobs. Files are prepared in MainTop or Photoprint.

Applications

National flags and bunting printed in series, beach flags and outdoor advertising flags, textile banners and event backdrops, textile décor such as tapestries, tablecloths and interior textiles.
