About this machine
Galaxy UD-3200BE Eco-Solvent Roll Printer
A 3200 mm eco-solvent roll printer for wide banners printed in one piece, on rolls up to 100 m long. It takes frontlit and backlit banner, mesh, self-adhesive vinyl and paper, for volumes of up to 1000 m² a day.
Four Epson i3200 E1 heads print CMYK, and the printer is rated above 190 m²/h in two-pass draft mode. The pressure rollers are electrically driven and controlled from four points, which keeps wide media running straight. A triple heating system and a dual drying system, combining forced ventilation and infrared, dry the prints before the take-up roll, which is included.
Ink comes from a chipless CISS bulk supply, and an anti-crush system protects the heads. Files are prepared in FlexiPrint. The printer runs on 220 V (3400 W).
Applications
Wide banners and mesh, building wraps and scaffold banners, backlit and frontlit graphics, billboard prints.
Model name
The UD-3200BE is the current name of the model previously sold as Galaxy UD-32R8BE — same machine, new designation. It is not the UD-3200BEW, which is a 3.2 m UV LED roll-to-roll printer.

Frequently asked questions
What is it for?
Wide banners printed in one piece, up to 3200 mm wide on rolls up to 100 m long. Typical work is banners and mesh, building wraps and scaffold banners, backlit and frontlit graphics and billboard prints, for volumes of up to 1000 m² a day.
What media does it take?
Frontlit and backlit banner, mesh, self-adhesive vinyl, paper and similar roll media. If your media is not on that list, send us a roll sample and the jobs you run on it, and we will test it.
How many heads, and how fast?
Four Epson i3200 E1 heads print CMYK, and the printer is rated above 190 m²/h in two-pass draft mode. Tell us the daily square metres you plan and we will tell you whether it covers it.
How does it keep wide media straight?
The pressure rollers are electrically driven and controlled from four points, which keeps wide media running straight across the 3200 mm width. A triple heating system and a dual drying system, forced ventilation and infrared, dry the prints before the take-up roll, which comes with the machine.
Which ink supply and software does it use?
CMYK ink comes from a chipless CISS bulk supply, and an anti-crush system protects the heads. There is no white or varnish channel on this machine. Files are prepared in FlexiPrint; send us a typical wide banner file and we will show you the workflow.
What does it need on site?
A 220 V supply for 3400 W and a room at 18 – 30 °C and 35 – 65 % humidity. The printer measures 4480 × 920 × 1225 mm and weighs 427 kg net; it ships at 4590 × 1100 × 920 mm and 487 kg gross. Allow working space front and back for loading wide rolls.
Is the UD-3200BE the same machine as the UD-32R8BE?
Yes. UD-3200BE is the manufacturer's current name for the model previously sold as UD-32R8BE. Quotes and documents that mention UD-32R8BE refer to this printer.
Is it the same as the UD-3200BEW?
No. The UD-3200BE prints eco-solvent ink with Epson i3200 E1 heads. The Galaxy UD-3200BEW is a different machine: a 3.2 m roll-to-roll UV LED printer with Epson i3200-U1 heads, whose prints come off the machine already cured.
