Digital label embellishment
JV-350 adds decorative effects to printed labels using drop-on-demand digital printing and LED curing. The brochure lists 3D spot UV, embossed effects, reverse varnish, cast-and-cure, variable foiling and Braille applications.
The system processes coated or uncoated self-adhesive paper and suitable synthetic substrates. Servo-controlled roll handling supports repeat passes, with stated secondary registration accuracy of ±0.15 mm.
Options
Corona treatment and dust removal, a variable-data system and a coating unit are optional. Foiling can be upgraded to apply three films simultaneously; this upgrade is not implied to be standard.

What effects can it add to labels?
The JV-350 adds decorative effects to printed labels by drop-on-demand digital printing with LED curing: 3D spot UV, embossed effects, reverse varnish, cast-and-cure, variable foiling and Braille. Varnish can be laid at 30–100 µm, as an option, with seven greyscale levels. Send us a printed label and the effect you want and we will check it.
Which materials and widths does it take?
Coated or uncoated self-adhesive paper, white or transparent PP, PE, BOPP and PET, and cardboard, from 50 to 400 µm thick. The web can be 60–370 mm wide, with a maximum image width of 350 mm. It runs roll to roll, with rolls up to 850 mm in diameter on 3 inch cores.
How accurately does it register to the print?
The stated secondary registration accuracy is ±0.15 mm. Servo-controlled roll handling supports repeat passes, so you can build effects on labels that were printed beforehand. It runs at 10–40 m/min. Send us your tightest artwork and we will confirm it against that tolerance.
How does the foiling work?
Foiling is variable and applied digitally. Foil widths from 100 to 370 mm and foil rolls 400–2000 m long are supported. The foiling can be upgraded to apply three films at the same time; that upgrade is an option, not standard, so tell us if you need it and we will include it in the quote.
Which options are available?
Corona treatment and dust removal, a variable-data system and a coating unit are optional, as is the three-film foiling upgrade. Which ones you need depends on your substrates and the effects you sell. Describe your label work and we will recommend a configuration.
What does it need on site?
A 380 V three-phase supply with neutral and protective earth, rated at 63 A, and a room held at 20–28 °C and 40–70% RH, non-condensing. Machine dimensions and weight are confirmed for the selected configuration.
