GA Series Automatic Feeding Gluing Machine

The GA series is an automatic feeding gluing machine: it positions and feeds the sheet itself, so an operator does not have to pick up and register each sheet by hand. Adhesive is applied to the window area without a screen-printing mesh, which removes the screen from the changeover altogether — there is no screen to make, mount, align or wash out between jobs.

Setting the machine up is done in a teach mode. The adhesive path is shown to the machine once and learned immediately, so a new job does not need to be programmed in a separate step. That keeps the time cost of a short run close to the time cost of a long one, which is the usual constraint in window-patching and short-run packaging work.

Two working sizes are built. The GA1015 has a 1000 × 1500 mm maximum gluing area and takes sheets up to 1080 × 1580 mm, on 2 kW of installed power, in a 2500 × 2100 × 1750 mm footprint. The GA2115 doubles the width: a 2100 × 1500 mm gluing area, sheets up to 2180 × 1580 mm, 2.5 kW, and a 5300 × 2270 × 1750 mm footprint. Both run on a standard 6 – 8 bar compressed air supply.

The standard machine applies liquid adhesive; hotmelt application is available as an option where the bond has to set immediately rather than over a drying interval.

The series suits carton and packaging producers, display makers and print finishers who glue printed sheets in quantity and want the sheet handling automated rather than manned.
