AEON Octopus Duo 3-in-1 rotary
The Octopus Duo combines three rotary devices in one unit: rollers, a chuck and a tailstock. It connects plug-and-play to AEON Mira and Nova machines and covers almost every round or irregular workpiece a workshop meets.
What it holds
The chuck grips externally from Ø2 to Ø100 mm and expands internally from Ø13 to Ø100 mm; extended jaws take Ø2–50 mm. The rollers carry pieces up to Ø100 mm and 565 mm long, with a workpiece height of up to 150 mm and a diameter variation tolerance of up to 50 mm, which is what lets it engrave conical and irregular bodies. Spheres between 20 and 120 mm are engraved with the same unit.
In use
180° and 360° rotation, an anti-slip aluminium vice and engraving speeds of up to 400 mm/s.
Compatibility
The R7G12 Octopus Duo fits both the Mira and Nova series.

What does 3-in-1 mean?
Three rotary devices in one unit: rollers, a chuck and a tailstock. Between them they cover cylindrical, conical, spherical and irregular objects, so you do not have to change rotary when the job changes from straight tumblers to stemmed or tapered pieces.
Which machines does it fit?
The AEON Mira and Nova series. It connects plug and play to both, and the same unit covers rollers, chuck and tailstock work on either series. If you run a different machine, send us the model and we will tell you which rotary to use instead.
What sizes can the chuck hold?
Externally it grips from Ø2 to Ø100 mm, and internally it expands from Ø13 to Ø100 mm, which lets you hold a piece from the inside of an opening. The extended jaws take Ø2 to Ø50 mm. The vice is anti-slip aluminium.
