AEON Octopus Duo 3-in-1 rotary
The Octopus Duo combines three rotary devices in one unit: rollers, a chuck and a tailstock. It connects plug-and-play to AEON Mira and Nova machines and covers almost every round or irregular workpiece a workshop meets.
What it holds
The chuck grips externally from Ø2 to Ø100 mm and expands internally from Ø13 to Ø100 mm; extended jaws take Ø2–50 mm. The rollers carry pieces up to Ø100 mm and 565 mm long, with a workpiece height of up to 150 mm and a diameter variation tolerance of up to 50 mm, which is what lets it engrave conical and irregular bodies. Spheres between 20 and 120 mm are engraved with the same unit.
In use
180° and 360° rotation, an anti-slip aluminium vice and engraving speeds of up to 400 mm/s.
