About this range

Printing produces ink aerosol, solvent vapour and odour rather than dust — and wet aerosol ruins the pleated media of a standard dust extractor. The FVS series puts a washable open-cell foam stage in front of the F9, HEPA H14 and carbon stages, so the aerosol is caught before it reaches anything it can damage.

Then size it: the machine bed decides the airflow — 30×40 cm needs 300 m³/h, 130×250 cm needs 2400 m³/h.

The material decides the filter. Picking by airflow alone is the mistake that blinds a filter in weeks.

Frequently asked questions

Can filters be washed and reused?

The foam aerosol stage is washable and should be checked weekly on a high-volume machine. HEPA and PTFE-coated elements cannot: washing destroys the filter structure. Only sintered metal elements can be cleaned, and only a limited number of times.

Where does the filtered air go?

Back into the room. The mobile units are recirculating, so there is no duct to the outside and no heated air thrown away in winter. The central industrial units are ducted to the machine enclosure and need a compressed-air line for their self-cleaning cartridges.

What maintenance does it need day to day?

Check the element is seated and sealed before running. When the blockage alarm shows, replace it then — running on past it pushes fume into the fan and the control board, which turns a filter change into a repair.
