About this machine
The PA-FVS400i is built for sublimation and UV printing, where the problem is not dust but ink aerosol, solvent vapour and odour. A washable foam stage catches the wet aerosol before it can reach and ruin the pleated media behind it - which is exactly what happens when a standard dust extractor is used on a printer. Behind the foam: F9, HEPA H14 and a deep activated carbon bed. 400 m³/h at up to 8000 Pa.
Filtration
- High-density open-cell foam sponge pre-filter for ink aerosol
- F9 deeppleat filter, 95% @ 1.0 um
- H14 deeppleat filter, 99.99% @ 0.3 um
- Treated activated carbon, approx. 12-30 kg, for solvent odour and VOC

Intelligent version (PIPS)
This is the i version of the model. It adds the Pure-Air Intelligent Purification System: an industrial touch screen that shows real airflow and negative pressure in real time, a filter health manager that warns before a stage blocks, and automatic airflow compensation so extraction does not fade as the filter loads. I/O and RS-485 allow remote start/stop, linkage with the host machine or robot and centralised control of several units. PM2.5, VOC and O3 sensors are available as an option, and firmware updates are loaded from a TF card.
Installation
Beside or under the printer, ducted to the print-head area or the dryer outlet. Keep the hose short. The foam stage is washable and should be checked weekly on high-volume machines - ink aerosol loads it faster than dust loads a filter.
