MPP Series Paper Laminating Press

The MPP series is a compaction and pressing machine used after gluing and laminating, in the production of displays, cardboard boxes and packaging. Once the printed face has been laminated onto the board, the press applies pressure over the whole surface at once and completes the cycle in a few seconds, driving out the air and closing the adhesive line so that the laminate resists peeling at the edges and corners.

The working gap is 370 mm, which is what makes the press usable for bulky assembled items rather than flat sheets alone. Pressing thickness is adjustable, so the same machine handles products of different build-ups without packing or shimming the bed.

Operator involvement in the cycle is minimal: the product is loaded, pressed over the full area, and unloaded. The manufacturer quotes a labour reduction of more than 30 % and an increase in adhesive strength of more than 200 % against hand or roller pressing.

Two sizes are built. The MPP1208 has a 1200 × 800 mm maximum working area in a 1300 × 1100 × 1350 mm frame; the MPP2115 has a 2100 × 1500 mm working area in a 2200 × 1810 × 1350 mm frame. Both are driven by a 1.2 kW motor.

The series suits display makers, carton converters and packaging producers who already glue and laminate in house and need the bond consolidated in a controlled, repeatable step rather than by hand.
